About the event
Join Vivienne Kanharn (Silver with Frills) as she returns for a fun workshop creating beautiful silver clay stacking rings from start to finish!
In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to design and create your own set of delicate stacking rings using silver clay. Each participant will be provided with 7g of silver clay to work with, allowing you to create one or several rings depending on your design.
Once you’re happy with your pieces, they will need time to dry. This is the perfect moment to take a short break, stretch your legs, and enjoy some snacks, cake, and refreshments. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies.
After the clay has dried, you’ll begin refining your rings using files and sanding pads to smooth the surfaces and edges before the exciting part — firing your pieces with a handheld torch. Vivienne will give a demonstration and then…
